Today it became official that Kilian will debut Nnormal trail running shoes in Zegama Aizkorri. The official data are not public, so before getting involved in a shoe or similar, we review the real solidity of the project and the people involved.

KILIAN JORNET LAUNCHES NNORMAL TRAIL RUNNING SHOES AT ZEGAMA AIZKORRI
As expected, the Nnormal brand officially confirmed today that its first trail running shoes will be officially presented this weekend at Zegama Aizkorri.
He has also done so, showing these two images below with Kilian Jornet himself as a base. At the moment the technical characteristics of the shoe have not yet been made public, which we will advance as soon as it is official.
NNORMAL TRAIL RUNNING SHOES: WHAT DO WE ALREADY KNOW?
In the previous images officially published so far, little else we have been able to advance apart from a sharp design, a high sole, the use of traditional cords instead of the laced Salomon cable and a Vibram sole. It is not little, but we still lack the specific numbers to be able to size it….
We are left with these first two official photos as the first advance, before seeing us this Sunday in Zegama where our skippers Ernest, Marcos and Mayayo will be live to tell you every detail.

KILIAN JORNET NNORMAL: PRODUCTS
What sports will Nnormal cover? The brand will focus on high-performance trail running products, at first. With the vocation to include hiking also as soon as possible.
The type of product they are working on is “Timeless material, products built to last, functional and performance-oriented”
What will be the first products on sale? The first images published seem to tell us about trail running shoes, running windbreaks, t-shirts and pants. Logical also because they will be used in the race by Kilian from Zegama Aizkorri, also in HardRock 100 Miles, Sierre Zinal and UTMB Mont Blanc, in this order.
When will they arrive in stores? “The first installment will be a limited edition focused on footwear, clothing and accessories for trailrunning and hiking. The NNormal selection will be launched on the F/W22 in Europe and North America through nnormal.com and sports stores specializing in outdoor activities and running.”
Why doesn’t it go out until autumn? It is logical perhaps that the brand speaks of FW22 as a first season. You have to let the launch settle, present the product to stores, distribute it and more.
Therefore, if everything goes well it will be from this autumn when we can buy now. Logical, after the four previous marketing blows in the four races, right?
