HOKA MACH SUPERSONIC: LIGHTWEIGHT EVERYDAY TRAINING SHOES. Our RUNNING SHOES section bring us today a deeper technical analysis of the new HOKA Mach Supersonic. As you might remenber we presented you the HOKA 2022 collection a couple of days ago, and with this article we finish the series where we have analyzed more in deep the new HOKA Speedgoat 5, the HOKA Tecton X , the HOKA Carbon X 3 and the HOKA Kawana.

This HOKA Kawana will come  with a price of 150€ (pending confirmation), 235 g and a drop of 5 mm for a height of 29 mm in the back and 24 in the front.

HOKA ONE ONE 2022

This new collection of HOKA One One for 2022 arrives with a new trail shoe, the Tecton X, which for the first time mounts two carbon plates, renews the Speedgoat 5, “slims” the Carbon X 3 and combines the catalogue of shoes with the Kawana and the Mach Supersonic.

Also, we see how the collection has focused on lightening materials and getting shoes just as cushioned and reactive but with a few grams less weight.

HOKA MACH SUPERSONIC

These Mach Supersonic arrive in the line of the Mach 4 as a daily training shoe, without carbon plate, very light, only 232 grams and with the new PROFLY foam™ in the midsole that improved make them comfortable and reactive.

UPPER

Jacquard Engineered Mesh – this recycled, vegan yarn mesh provides a secure lock to the foot preventing you from guiding technical curves and descents the foot “dances” inside the shoe.

Easy On-Off: The extended heel pull tab is designed for comfort.

Cruelty-Free: Boasting a vegan upper, the Speedgoat is animal-approved.

Breathable: Dynamic sandwich mesh upper enhances breathability.

Environmentally-friendly: The upper is constructed from a double jacquard recycled content engineered mesh and accompanied by recycled polyester laces.

MIDSOLE

The PROFLY™ midsole cushions the tread and offers a more resounding boost along with a super light bottom layer (the same new foam that the Carbon X mounts).

High stack-height foam with Meta-Rocker for a responsive ride.

SOLE

The EVA’s outsole provides light contact with the ground and improves cushioning responsiveness.

HOKA MACH SUPERSONIC: CONCLUSION

The OFFICIAL data we have received, so far, shows a lightweight shoe, only 235 grams that seeks to be the training shoe “par excellence” to run many kilometers at a popular level.

The type of runner who will get the most out of it will perhaps be the runner of neutral footprint and light – medium weight (below 75 kg) that roll comfortably below 5:00 and be able to squeeze them in the days of quality training being able to go below 4 km without problem.

They are runners who will have here a high cushioning in a shoe of contained weight, of only 235gr and a drop of 5 mm to be a perfect companion for the preparation of a competition until marathon and thus be able to preserve and extend the life of the competition shoes with carbon plate as it could be the Carbon X3.

Without the reactivity that a model with a plate can have but reactive enough to train cheerfully and get quality rhythms, with great comfort thanks to the new foam developed in the midsole.
