STIAN ANGERMUND JOINS THE ASICS TRAIL RUNNING TEAM. The Trail Running World Champion of in Thailand 2022 is the new signing of the ASICS Trail team, where he joins Spanish mountain runners such as Sara Alonso or Andreu Simón, among others.

STIAN ANGERMUND JOINS THE ASICS TRAIL RUNNING TEAM
ASICS today announces that 2021 Trail Running World Champion Stian Angermund is joining the Japanese brand’s Trail team.
Born in Bergen, Norway, Angermund has been surrounded by mountains and trails since he was young, but began to focus seriously on the sport after his father’s death.
Stian Angermund belongs to the world elite group of Trail, with a long list of triumphs, including the Zegama Aizkorri 2017 where he also left a record that withstood several years the assaults of KIlian himself. He has also won the OCC at UTMB Chamonix. Today he is the current world champion of Trail Running Marathon,
STIAN STATEMENT
Commenting on the decision to join ASICS, Angermund explains: “TrailRunning is a sport in which I compete and, although I love competing on an individual level, good team spirit and work are important values for me. I’ve heard a lot about the camaraderie of the ASICS Trail team and I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the components and collaborating with ASICS on my next TrailRunning challenges.”
