GORBEIA SUZIEN 2022 (8-OCT) SKYRUNNING WORLD CUP FINAL. Our MOUNTAIN RACES CALENDAR 2022 section celebrates another great official international event that will be held in Spain. We recently published that Canfranc Canfranc will be the final WMRA Long Distance World Cup 2022 and world candidate Mountain and Trail 2023.
For its part, in the Basque Country, Zumaia Flysch will host the WMRA Classic Mountain Running World Cup final. In addition, today it was confirmed that Gorbeia will host its vex z the Skyrunning World Cup final. A double joy for the fans.

GORBEIA SUZIEN 2022 (8-OCT) SKYRUNNING WORLD CUP FINAL
The ISF, the International Skyrunning Federation, has chosen the Gorbeia Suzien 2022 as the SkyMasters race, that is, to host the Final of the World Cup.
In the race, which will be held on October 8, it will be decided, among the 40 best runners, who are the world champions.
The full calendar, which you can see below, will begin in France on May 8 and after competing in Portugal, Japan, Austria, Canada, Spain, Andorra, Norway, Switzerland, Italy and Bulgaria. After all the previous stops, it will finally be the ramps of the Gorbea will decide, among the 40 runners who have added the most points, who will be the champions of the world in the male and female category.
GORBEIA SUZIEN 2022: THREE MOUNTAIN RACES
Gorbeia Suzien 2022 will be special. In addition to the two usual annual races, of 32 kilometers and 21 kilometers, the organization works to host this year’s SkyMasters.
Jurek Ziemkiewicz, race director, said hosting the World Cup final is “a great challenge, but also a great opportunity to make Zeanuri known around the world. We have received with enthusiasm the decision of ISF, and as every year, we are working to organize a great race, spectacular and attractive. It’s about people coming to Zeanuri enjoying.”
GORBEIA SUZIEN 2022: REGISTRATIONS
Registration for the 32K race can be made between March 1 and 20 on the portal www.gorbeiasuzien.eus and then a draw will be made to determine the list of participants at the start, as well as the waiting list
Registration for the 21K race will be made between April 4 and 24 and until the maximun number of bib is reached.
Another year, the organization will make a special effort to guarantee the female presence in the competition.
