POLAR VANTAGE V2 SHIFT & POLAR VANTAGE V2 RED: TWO NEW MEMBERS INTO THE VANTAGE FAMILY. Our GPS WATCH section brings us today another novelty from Polar, if yesterday we introduced you the POLAR GRIT X PRO Y PRO TITAN, today is the turn of the Vantage family, with two new menbers the Polar Vantage V2 Shift and the Polar Vantage V2 Red.
This premium Multiesport GPS, from the Finnish brand comes with all of Polar’s sports expertise in one package, including wrist-based heart rate, GPS, performance tests and recovery tracking, starting on 499€ depending on the options chosen.

TWO NEW MEMBERS INTO THE VANTAGE FAMILY
In 2018, Polar presented the new Polar Vantage V, a watch aimed at those multi-athletes with ambitious goals and that incorporated some novelties such as a new heart rate sensor (Polar Precision Time) and also some new functionalities.
Last year an evolution was presented, the Vantage V2, a top quality watch made with high quality materials, to combine in sports activities but also to use in our day to day thanks to its modern design. It incorporated new intelligent tools to provide runners with a multitude of data and with better reliability.
Now, in 2021, Polar expands the Vantage family with two new additions.
POLAR VANTAGE V2 SHIFT
The Polar Vantage V2 now comes in a special SHIFT version available in two colours: silver and black. The pack includes two straps: an elegant microperforated leather (to use in our day to day) and another made of ultra-resistant FKM (for our sports activities).
Transforming a sports heart rate monitor into a watch with a more urban look is now easier than ever. The new SHFTTM adapter has a quick locking mechanism compatible with any standard 22mm strap to progress on your training goals, including the familiar ones and some exciting new additions.

POLAR VANTAGE V2 RED
Red is a symbol of the brand and is now also incorporated into the Vantage Series range. Until now the Polar Vantage V2 could be purchased in three colors: black, lime gray and silver and green and black, adding red as a novelty from this month of October.

SOFTWARE UPDATE
All new versions of Polar Vantage V2 as well as those currently on the market, will include the functions of the new Polar Grit X Pro. To obtain them it will be necessary to update the device with the latest software version via Polar Flow. Update date: October 20, 2021.
The Polar Vantage V2 Software Update 3.0 will include the following features:
- NAVIGATION FUNCTIONS – New route profiles and altimetry. Turn-by-turn directions with Komoot. Analysis of performance on ups, downs and plains with the Hill Splitter™ function. Track Back function that indicates the way back home. Possibility to modify the route at any time if you need to stop the training.
- OUTDOOR FUNCTIONS ALWAYS ACTIVATED – New views always available: navigation functions, compass, location coordinates, barometer, weather and forecast to two days view, sunrise sunset, hours of light.
- FC SENSOR MODE – Polar Vantage V2 can be used as a heart rate sensor and transmit HR data via BLE to compatible bike computers, gym machines and apps.
In addition, Polar Vantage V2 users can convert their watch to the Polar Vantage V2 SHIFTTM version by purchasing the SHIFTTM pack as an accessory. This kit includes adapters and a selection of compatible 22mm straps.
By the end of the year, Polar Grit X users will also be able to update their device with some of the new features of Polar Grit X Pro, including: music controls, possibility to change the route during training, Running Performance Test, weekly summary, FC sensor mode and the creation of training objectives based on power.
