JOST KOBUSCH: SOLO WINTER ACSENT TO MOUNT DENALI (6.190M). Our MOUNTAINEERING section bring us today the amazing news form the German mountaineer, Jost Kobusch, who on Saturday 19th February has arrived to the top of North america, mount Denali and its 6190 meters.
The German, Jost Kobusch has been the first non-american alpinist to climb the top of North America in a solo attempt, in winter and being the first one repeating the Messner couloir which was never done before in winter.

Jost Kobusch is a German mountaineer climber known for his alpine and Himalayan expeditions. In 2018, he attempted to climb Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen, but was forced to turn back due to adverse weather conditions.
JOST KOBUSCH: THE ALPINIST
Jost Kobusch is a German alpinist, mountaineer, and climber. He was born on March 6, 1993, in Hanover, Germany. He has been climbing since the age of nine, and has since made a name for himself in the climbing community for his alpine and Himalayan expeditions.
Kobusch has completed numerous notable climbs, including a solo ascent of Ama Dablam in the Himalayas, a first ascent of a peak in the Indian Himalayas, and an attempt to climb Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen in 2018. He has also completed challenging alpine climbs in the Alps and other mountain ranges around the world.
Kobusch is known for his dedication to the sport of mountaineering and his willingness to push the limits of what is possible in climbing. He is also a talented photographer and filmmaker, and has documented his expeditions in stunning photographs and videos that have been widely shared and celebrated in the climbing community.

Kobusch’s successful ascent of Denali in the winter made him the first person to do so solo and unsupported. He also set a new record for the fastest solo winter ascent of Denali.
Overall, Kobusch’s winter ascent of Denali was an incredible feat of endurance and perseverance, showcasing his incredible skill and determination as a mountaineer.
DENALI OR MT. McKINLEY
Denali, also known as Mount McKinley, is the highest peak in North America with 6190 meters of altitude, located in the Alaska Range. Denali is known for its extreme weather and challenging climbing conditions, especially during the winter months when temperatures can drop to -60 degrees Celsius (-76 degrees Fahrenheit).
Winter ascents of Denali are particularly rare and difficult, and are considered one of the most challenging mountaineering objectives in the world.

THE ASCENT
