TRANSVULCANIA BY UTMB 2023: NAMES CHANGE

After the success of its first edition, Transvulcania by UTMB® returns with novelties that aim to make this event an unforgettable experience.

In order to avoid confusion regarding their respective distances, the Half Marathon, of 28 kilometers, is renamed El Roque, in reference to the place where the test begins.

THE MARATHON IS RENAMED AS “VOLCANOES”. NEW ROUTE

Volcanoes is the new name of the old Marathon, a race of 48 kilometers, 2,850 meters of positive slope, and 2,500 of negative, which opens route, with departure in El Faro de Fuencaliente, at sea level, and arrival at Los Llanos de Aridane, after crossing the impressive route of the volcanoes.

The Ultra, El Roque and the Vertical Challenge remain unchanged.

Transvulcania by UTMB® is thus preparing to live a new historical edition, with a return to its original date and a series of modifications with which it is intended to continue improving and consolidating itself as an unmissable event in the trail running circuit.
