CAMP ALP RACE (68GR): SKI MOUNTAINEERING HARNESS
The CAMP Alp Race racing harness is the new reference for ski mountaineering competitions in the Italian range. At 68 grams, it breaks all weight records.
Moreover, the compact once folded, little more bulk than a carabiner. Folded into its own special case, it is packed to the size of a wallet.
Savings in weight and bulk have been sought without reducing solidity and durability. Thus, the brand highlights that the construction uses superlight and breathable nylon monofilament combined with exceptionally durable and abrasion-resistant high-strength polyethylene.
An elastic cord on the belt is adjustable with a Hypalon clip. The elastic height adjustment cord for the legs is secured with a knot to prevent the legs from sliding down during dynamic movements.
A single gear loop can be removed using hypalon® slots. It is available in 4 sizes from S to XL. Weight 68 g in size M. RRP 55€.

CAMP RAPID RACING 2022: SKI MOUNTAINEERING BACKPACK
Rapid Racing has been the benchmark racing backpack for years in the Skimo World Cup and many other events. For this 2022 version the brand was based on its own athletes: They did not give their opinion: they also physically went to the R&D offices and designed exactly what they wanted.
The result, they claim now from CAMP, is a competition backpack without equal. The new X-Press ski transport system, shown below in detail, uses an ergonomic hook with an elastic rope system to hold the skis quickly and safely.
The hook automatically retracts to its starting position when not in use and both ends of the system are adjustable so that runners can adjust ergonomics for faster tail insertion and safer tension for the hook.
Other improvements include updates to the shoulder straps, back panel and belt, and the crampon pocket with the addition of magnets to help ensure the pocket is easy to close without removing the package. Capacity 20 liters. Weight 300 g. RRP 115€.
CAMP PIZ ALU: SKI MOUNTAINEERING
The Camp Piz Alu is a fixed-length aluminum alloy cane designed specifically for mountain skiing. It is thus sought that the skier combines the light weight benefits of a cane of fixed length, but maintaining a robust construction of 16 mm aluminum alloy tube.
According to Camp, this combination seeks to achieve a resistance and durability that other racing poles cannot offer. And it is that, breaking a cane in the race to lose whole minutes, to save a few grams. In addition, the grip is designed for maximum comfort and a long extension of grip material allows skiers to choke on poles on steep terrain.
The wristbands are ergonomic with neoprene reinforcements for comfort. The sturdy carbide tips are shaped like a knife blade as you can see below in the images.
It seeks to better attack the frozen terrain. To finish the rigid baskets have a large surface and jagged edges for an additional grip in hard snow and to scrape frozen skins. Basket parts are sold, a good idea always because break, we will break them sometime. There are 7 sizes from 115 to 145 cm. Weight from 408 to 474 g. RRP 55€
