ARC’TERYX SHASHKA: WOMEN’S SKI JACKET AND TROUSERS. Our SKI section bring us today another novelty for this 2022 seasson: the spefic women’s designed jacket and pants from the Canadian brand, the Acr’teryx Shashka.
Whether skis or splitboard, uptrack or descent – backcountry tours require freedom, weather protection, and breathable comfort. With the constant of changing conditions and the demands of uphill travel in mind, our team designed the Shashka Stretch kit for women and corresponding Procline series for men.
They use N70p GORE-TEX INFINIUM with stretching in 4 directions, to provide flexibility in uneven terrain, breathability to the surface, protection against the wind in the descent and basic resistance to water. Its official starting price is € 350.

Who is Arc’teryx? It is a Canadian technical high-performance apparel, outerwear and equipment company, founded firtsly in 1989 as Rock Solid and as of 1991 with the name we know it today: ARC’TERYX. Since 2001 is also part of the Amer Sports Group together with brands like: Salomon, Suunto, Atomic, Peak Performance, Wilson and many others.
Many of you might know Arc’teryx by its logo, many of you might think what it is? Do not worry, we will let you know.
The logo and the name of the Canadian brand refer to an Archaeopteryx, which is one of the first birds and a transition form between the first dinosaurs and the actual birds. The logo, designed by Michael Hofler, was based on the “Berliln specimen”: fossil of the bird with the most complete skeleton found until now.
Following that founding idea, the Canadians believe there is always a better way, and it is that philosophy what make them create outstanding outdoor and mountaneering products using the latest technologies having always very present the sustanibility and care for the planet.

When we leave the slopes to move with cross-country skiing, we look for clothes that do many things well at once: It must be comfortable, flexible, resistant when we turn, let us sweat when it is time to climb a good slope, but wrap ourselves when going down or if the wind hits the ridges.

HIGHLIGHTS
It has zippers in the armpits for easy ventilation, two pockets for the hands, an internal security pocket with zipper, pocket in the sleeve with zipper, internal pockets to store or store objects and a single pocket on the chest.

The Arc’teryx Shashka Stretch women’s ski pants offer side vents for fast aerating, safe and accessible pockets, and the touringCuff with quick adjustment in 100D Cordura of the brand facilitates the handling of the buckle.
The piece is completed with two pockets for the hands, a pocket on the thigh and sides leg in solid Keprotec that protect against abrasion of the edges.
