HELLY HANSEN H1 PRO SKI PROTECTIVE TOP: NEW UNISEX BASE LAYER. Our SKI section bring us today the Helly Hansen H1 Pro SKi Protective Top: Helly Hansen’s new unisex base layer to perform more and better on skiing, combining a soft compression with removable protective pads.
The new base layer has been developed thanks to input from Helly Hansen’s professional skiers, including the Canadian national alpine skiing team.

Already in the 1970s, the brand developed the first basic technical layers, essential to stay dry and comfortable especially during the winter months. From those first shoulder-striped jerseys until today, Helly Hansen has continued to innovate in the base layers category.

Helly Hansen opens the season with its latest innovation in base layers and launches the unisex set formed by the H1 Pro Protective Top shirt and the 3/4 H1 Pro Protective Pant pants, designed for optimal protection and aerodynamic performance on the ski slopes.
The concept is based on combining aerodynamic pads with the award-winning LIFA stay-dry technology to better protect the body. The body protection is in charge of the SAS-TECH technology of the triple flex pads.
The H1 pro badgers attached to the strategically placed pads seek to protect us from impacts. Considering the aerodynamics, the pads are removable, allowing you to go faster when looking for it.

HELLY HANSEN H1 PRO SKI PROTECTIVE: HOW DOES IT WORK?
Helly Hansen’s goal was to get the fastest possible combination between a base layer and a speed suit. Hence, this new base layer arises from the need felt by many high-level skiers who require a garment that protects them more, without providing volume and, at the same time, helps maintain the maximum speed.
Designed to optimize aerodynamic performance, the H1 Pro Protective Top and 3/4 H1 Pro Protective Pant pants feature a compression fit, which keeps the pads in place when wearing a speed suit.
Both the H1 Pro Protective Top T-shirt and the 3/4 H1 Pro Protective Pant trousers are made from LIFA fibers, patented by Helly Hansen in a seamless construction that, at the same time, offers excellent moisture management, as well as maximum comfort and freedom of movement.
