LA SPORTIVA LAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL 2022: JOINS THE UTMB WORLD TOUR AND OPEN REGISTRATIONS. Our TRAIL CALENDAR section bring us today 2 news from Cortina d’Ampezzo: the pre-registration opening and the enter of  the the UTMB® World Series 2022. 

The other day we told you about the new UTMB World Series, and today, we bring you the info about the pre-registration between 15 and 25 November for the four races taking place at the end of June.

LAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL 2022 BY UTMB

2022 will see the birth of the UTMB® World Series and representing Italy is La Sportiva® Lavaredo Ultra Trail®, taking place from 23 to 26 June 2022 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites.

La Sportiva® Lavaredo Ultra Trail® by UTMB®,which is joining the World Series most famous trails in the world like UTMB® and Western States, opens pre-registration for its 4 races from 15 to 25 November: Lavaredo Ultra Trail 120 km, UltraDolomites 80 km (starting in San Vigilio di Marebbe BZ), Cortina Trail 48 km and Cortina Skyrace 20 km.

LAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL 2022: RACE DIRECTOR STATEMENTS

“Being part of the UTMB® World Series 2022 is an important step and a huge recognition for La Sportiva® Lavaredo Ultra Trail® by UTMB® which continues to be one of the most important events in the international trail world 15 years after its first edition”, the Race Directors Simone Brogioni and Cristina Murgia declared. “The beauty of this race in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site brings 5,000 athletes every year from all over the world to Cortina d’Ampezzo which is hosting the Winter Olympic Games in 2026”.
