It is a trail jacket with best-selling potential for the balance it brings in all its factors. Part of a membrane, improved this year 5k to waterproof 20k and breathability 20k. Double what is required in races such as UTMB. And it does so by reducing the weight 30gr more to just 190gr.

After the success of the raidlight Top Extreme MP trail jacket since 2017, Raidlight surprises us with a name change, which comes to fit the new Raidlight ranges, in this case this jacket is framed in the Responsiv range, a range from which we have brought you technical analysis and reviews of its shoes, like the Responsiv Ultra, their 6-12-18-24L hydration vests or their clothes, like the short-sleeved T-shirt.

Raidlight offers three ranges in its sports equipment, Activ, Responsiv and Revolutiv, a range for each type of runner. Within the Responsiv range, Raidlight has decided to migrate the Raidlight Top Extreme MP jacket that already won our #oscardeltrail in 2019 In 2020 it launched the Raidlight Responsive MP (yellow bottom) that this year arrives improved as MP.

RAIDLIGHT RESPONSIV 2.0 MP+: USES

The Responsiv MP jacket is a technical and versatile model for intensive use. The uusario type will be a mountain aficionado who prefers to invest a little more to have a jacket to rely on for almost all kinds of uses. From running an ultra of a hundred miles in the Alps to going for a walk in the rain to mushroom.

The jacket combines a featherweight, well-kept pattern making, a superlative membrane and finishing details that provide security. In this way, it seeks to respond to the demands of training and competition, even in the most adverse weather conditions, from asphalt to the mountain and beyond.

• Waterproof Responsiv MP+® 2 Layer membrane: 20K based on 2-layer polyamide with sealed seams and elastic properties.
• Breathable Responsiv MP+® 2 Layer membrane: 20K. Climb 5k in each variable and double the 10k/10k of the UTMB regulation
• Protection: Hood complete with triple adjustment by 3 tensioners, 2 front and 1 on the back.
• Full water-resistant zip with internal storm flap
• Other technical feautures:
  • Side pockets with watertight zipper warm hands of which one of them with double zipper to be able to fold the jacket in a very small space.

  • Elasticated stretch cuffs with thumb loops.

Raidlight has improved the jacket in a very important way technically. Increasing the impemeability and breathability of the press to 20k/20k means matching the highest step on the market… with the exception of garments with Gore-tex shadedry membrane, which are today the top of it.

Now, the price of € 200 for this jacket greatly reduces what rivals of the top range ask us, located from € 250 onwards. And it does so in addition, with a weight of 190 grams and a carrying capacity in its own pocket that make it especially comfortable and easy to carry.
