ULTRA TRAIL MOUNT YUN BY UTMB 2024. RESULTS. Our UTMB 2024 WORLD SERIES traveled to Mount Yun that Laozi, the founder of Taoism, once visited. An unforgettable trail running adventure in an enchanting emerald paradise with breathtaking natural scenery: the majestic Mount Yun, lush pine trees, and ice cave groups. Jiaju Zhao, UMY 100M winner said: “The terrain at Ultra-Trail Mount Yun by UTMB is highly varied, many different types of cliffs, caves and even cave dwellings. I even had an urge to stop at one of them to get a nap. Also, I was very excited to finish during EMY 20K start as all runners there were cheering and encouraging me. Overall, I would like to praise the organisation – I really enjoyed running the UMY 100M – there is almost no hard surface, such a big part of the race is running through green areas. I am looking forward to being back next year to break my own record.”

Starting from Zhonghe Square, the course takes you through several historical sites and cultural relics, including the Five Dragon Palace (a Taoist holy site), the Ban’ershang (an ancient village), Houzhuang(an ancient village), Xiachuan(an ancient village), Ruins of Tang Dynasty Ancient City, and etc. Along the way, participants can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and forests, and experience the natural oxygen bar surrounded by rich vegetation. The event offers a unique blend of physical endurance and cultural exploration, allowing participants to appreciate the harmonious coexistence of nature and human history.
