HOKA CIELO X: HOW THEY WORK?

With a carbon fiber plate and a minimalist construction designed to obtain the best results on tartan tracks, HOKA has developed two new models of nails: Sky X MD for the mid-background and Sky X LD for background.

The brand claims that thanks to this carbon fiber plate, the return of energy in each stride is much greater, making all the force applied in each step much more efficient and, therefore, translates into greater speed.

Beyond the carbon fiber plate, the two Cielo X models are designed with a technical mesh and a high-performance structure of fast and breathable drying, improving ventilation. In addition, the midsole is cmeva, which increases the response of both shoes in each stride.

Both models also have Meta-Rocker technology in its initial phase to facilitate the dynamics of the tread. In addition, Cielo X MD and Cielo X LD are topped with a Pebax plate where the four nails are inserted.

HOKA CIELO X: HIGHLIGHTS, BY MAYAYO

As we all know, these last three years have been a complete revolution in terms of the materials used in running shoes, whether on the road or on the track, led by the application of rigid plates.

If the elites of the asphalt were the first beneficiaries, today any popular marathon has thousands of registered wearing this new tool that has also reached the tartan tracks, mountain races and cross country.

HOKA has developed a wide range of products with carbon fiber plates and ultra-reactive foams. Thus, models such as the Rocket X, Carbon X 2 and Bondi X have been counted on this plate for asphalt in recent years.

Now also runners who participate in track or cross country athletics events will be able to enjoy two models of flying shoes with carbon plate, Hoka Cielo X MD and Cielo X LD.

HOKA CIELO X: WORLD ATHLETICS HOMOLOGATION

And as usual in HOKA, the material development teams of the hand of the professional athletes sponsored by the brand, are in a continuous task of product improvement, seeking to find margins of improvement in this type of shoe, already very fast.

The two Cielo X models are included in the list of World Athletics prototypes to be able to compete with them in official tests, and have already been used by athletes of the NAZ Elite team of the United States (sponsored by HOKA) obtaining great results such as the one achieved by the Guatemalan Luis Grijalva in the Millrose Games and in the NB Indoor Grand Prix where he lowered in both tests the national record of his country to leave it at 7:37.42.
