LA SPORTIVA AEQUILIBRIUM: VIBRAM TECHNOLOGY IN THE AEQUILIBRIUM SERIES. Our MOUNTAIN BOOTS section today presents a new development of Vibram, dubbed Spring Lug Tech. La Sportiva is the first brand that bets on this new development for its moutain boots range. Lets see what is it.
LA SPORTIVA AEQUILIBRIUM
Vibram, a leading brand in the production of mountain soles, today presents Vibram® SpringLug Tech, the latest technology dedicated to different types of use, both outdoor and urban.
The first house to bet on the new technology of Vibram is the Italian brand La Sportiva, within the collection of light and fast mountaineering footwear “Aequilibrium”.
This line, composed of the three hiking boots that we present above, is reflected in three different degrees of technicality: Aequilibrium TOP GTX, Aequilibrium ST GTX and Aequilibrium LT GTX.
The range has been created for use in the alpine terrain, for quick and light excursions in the day, for technical steps in stony terrain and in mixed terrain and is designed to accompany the mountaineer throughout the route, from home to the top, thanks to an unprecedented adjustment comfort.
VIBRAM SPRINGLUG TECH: WHAT IS IT?
Comfort, adaptability to the ground and cushioning are essential elements when facing demanding Outdoor activities. Vibram, claims here that after studies, analysis and tests carried out by the R & D + i department, it has tried to combine in a single product all the key characteristics to meet the needs of its consumers.
The new Vibram Springlug Tech technology is composed of a rubber housing that allows maximum protection and great resistance to abrasion and wear, as well as providing grip and traction.
As you can see in the two photos below, add two pieces: Inside there is low-density polyurethane that maximizes comfort properties, also giving the sole a great adaptability to uneven terrain.
