NEW BALANCE FUELCELL REBEL V2: SHOES TO “FLY” WITH FEATHERWEIGHT 204GR. Our RUNNING SHOES section. Our patron Jorge Sabugo brings us all the news of this model after having tried the previous one and much of the wide RANGE FUELCELL.

NEW BALANCE FUELCELL REBEL V2

The NEW BALANCE FUELCELL REBEL V2 features FuelCell technology, which arrived with the aim of providing faster shoes, ideal for runners who want to run with speed. This line includes the most outstanding energy return capability of all the brand’s proposals to date, incorporating a nitrogen injection foam into the midsole, seeking greater return on the tread. The Rebel V1 had Fuelcell encapsulated in the Metatarsian zone but in that second installment evolve to offer us a complete Fuelcell delivery as we could already see in models such as 890 V8, FUELCELL TC or PRISM V1.
The NEW BALANCE FUELCELL REBEL V2 is a lightweight shoe, designed for runners looking for high rhythms over short distances, looking to optimize the energy used. This model includes the FuelCell technology throughout the midsole, incorporating the improved FuelCell ACL compound gaining lightness, bounce, compression capacity and energy return. Its cover provides a lightweight fit consisting of a single layer, thermoplastic and micro-drilled. Its sole with lightweight rubber and Ndurance in the areas with the greatest impact replaces rubber glass looking for longer life and greater lightness.

SOLE
On the sole there are clearly 3 zones and several reinforcements for the tread. Two parts well differentiated both in heel and throughout the wide area of half foot, with the new ligthweight rubber to withstand the abrasion of contact with the asphalt, and the third area where we can directly observe the fuelcell, thus lightening the shoe.
If anything was striking in the Rebel V1 it was that spur that rebuilt our footsteps when our feet tended to suppination. In this new model said spur has been tuned quite as has been trendy in all models of the range such as the 890 V8 or prism V1
MIDDLE SOLE
One of the great features of this new Rebel V2 is that its midsole is made up entirely of FuelCell which is achieved by applying a nitrogen injection to the foam. It replaces the FuelCell encapsulated in the front of the foot surrounded by light revlite cushioning, which featured the V1 model, assuming this change a significant improvement in the performance offered by the shoe gaining according to the Boston house up to 14% more energy return.
UPPER
The typical Engineered Mesh used in the rebel V1 has been replaced by the Laceknit, a single piece of micro-drilled thermoplastic material that will give it good breathability and a very renewed aesthetic, giving it an entirely new image that does not resemble its predecessor.
TONGUE
It has a tongue of classic arrangement, thin and with a light padding, very different from the sock mode arrangement of its predecessor.
