ARAMÓN TO OPEN THE SKI SESION ON DECEMBER 23rd IF REGIONAL TRAVEL IS ALLOWED.
ARAMON SNOW GROUP TO OPEN ITS SKI RESORTS ON 23rd DECEMBER.The opening is conditional on the lifting of the provincial perimeter closure, a measure that is expected to be adopted in the coming days. The Snow Group will open with Covid-19 prevention protocols previously validated by health authorities.
Aramón will open the ski season on December 23. This was agreed by the partners of Aramón (Government of Aragon and Ibercaja) at the meeting held last Friday. The opening is conditional on the lifting of the provincial mobility restriction that is envisaged in the coming days. If the provincial perimeter closure were maintained, the resorts would remain closed. With the health support expressed to the activity of skiing and the protocols worked within ATUDEM to ensure safety, the will is to strike a balance between the constraints caused by the health situation and the push for the economic pulse of the territory.

The Aramón group states that such opennig is a business ally but also a sacrifice in terms of profitability, but the snow group’s commitment to the territory leads this decision. It would take place on the 23rd, if sanitary and weather conditions permit, in the ski resorts of Formigal, Cerler and Valdelinares. The opening will adapt to the regulations and operational capacity of each moment. From the Aramón group it is considered that in these difficult times health responsibility has to be accompanied by social responsibility.
It also hopes that the decision will help territorial dynamism and relies on the proper control of territorial mobility, if any, to be set by the rules.
