TOR DES GEANTS COMES TO CHINA: NEW TORX CHN100 SHENZEN 2024 (28-29DEC). Our TOR DES GEANTS section confirms the launch of a new TORX in which it will be held imminently next December 2024.

The agreement signed in 2022 between TorX and the Kailas group’s subsidiary for events, LetourSports, was put on hold due to Covid and is now finally being implemented. The aim of the TorX circuit is to emulate the UTMB WORLD SERIES of neighbouring Chamonix by creating its own series throughout the world.

TOR DES GEANTS IN CHINA

TORX CHN100 2024 (DEC28-29)

The TORX eXperience circuit is finally coming to China with the TORX CHN100. The event is scheduled for December 28 and 29, 2024 in Dameisha, Shenzhen on a 100 km long course with 4,769 meters of positive gradient with a time limit of 28 hours. It will therefore be a generous and open race for anyone looking to be a finalist without further ado. The TORX CHN100 revives the TOR DES GEANTS CHINA 2022 project that we already presented here a couple of years ago.

Thanks to an agreement with LetourSports, a “satellite” company of the Kailas Group, as an internationally recognized brand for organizing sporting events such as cycling, climbing, canyoning, marathons and trail running. The project was then put on hold due to the COVID-19 emergency in China and is only now getting back on track, supported by the experience of LetourSports, which has already organised international races over the years such as the Guang Zhou Ultra Race 100, the Mogan Ultra Kailas, the Beijing 100 Ultra and the Mount Tai 100.
