MAXI-RACE ANNECY 2020: OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION FROM ORGANIZATION
Organizers keeps the dates hoping the situation evolves better in the future:
At present, it is impossible to predict how the epidemic will evolve. The race director is already reviewing the different options possible for any potential future restrictions that may apply. To be able to react quickly, race organizers are working with the event’s public and private partners, service providers involved in organizing the race, as well as the clubs and volunteers who represent the foundation of the entire organization.
By the beginning of April at the latest, to ensure that registered runners have time to make any appropriate changes in plans, race organizers will provide all necessary information about the potential optional scenarios that could be implemented.
For those runners who had planned to register over the next few days, race organizers recommend that you wait until you receive the aforementioned update. To accommodate this unique situation, the deadline to register has been extended to the beginning of May, as long as there are still spots available.
As of this press release, the organizing team would like to reiterate its desire to ensure that the 2020 MaXi-Race takes place, and continues to work non-stop so that everyone will be able to celebrate the event’s 10th edition together. However, public health is clearly the priority, and the governmental directives and health restrictions that enter into effect will guide the decisions we will have to make.
We hope that the situation takes a turn for the better. The entire organizing team recommends that you continue to train, physical activity being the best way to stay healthy and in great shape!
We will keep informing in trailrunningspain.com about the situation.
