CHIANTI ULTRA TRAIL BY UTMB. RACE RESULTS. Our UTMB 2024 WORLD SERIES brings us today the results of the Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB.
The Chianti Ultra Trail 2024 closed with three Spanish champions: Azara García won the 100k, while Aleix Toda won the 73k and Nuria Gil won the Marathon. Andrea Reiterer was the male winner on Ultra Trail Chianti Castles.

CHIANTI ULTRA TRAIL BY UTMB 2024:
RACE RESULTS
The race brings together elite athletes and amateurs alike, with no less than 3,800 registered, of which 52% were foreigners. Participation has doubled compared to last year in an event that seems to be aiming high.
It has not been an easy achievement for the Spanish trident, since the transalpine event had brought together an impressive team of elite riders in its debut in the UTMB World Series, including two Spaniards in the headlines: On the one hand, the winner of the Dacia UTMB® Mont-Blanc UTMB® 2019, Pau Capell (ESP, UTMB Index 890) and on the other the winner of the Val d’Aran by UTMB® 2023, Azara García de los Salmones (ESP, UTMB Index 783). Both were taking part in the 100K Ultra Trail Chianti Castles.
Andreas Reiterer, male winner on Ultra Trail Chianti Castles, said on the finish line: “I’m happy to have had a late entry to do the 100K, but it was really long! The first part of the race was very fast, then you get short but very steep climbs which is also technical, and that really gets your legs. But the race is wonderful, the views were incredible!”
