Registration has opened today for the ninth edition, which will be held from November 13 to 17 with its epicenter in Tejeda.

REGISTRATIONS OPENS
Registrations for the Transgrancanaria 360 2024 open this Wednesday, March 20. This self-sufficiency mountain race, spanning over 250 kilometers, is set to welcome elite athletes from around the world to Tejeda between November 13 and 17.
Now in its ninth edition, this iconic race traverses through nearly every municipality of Gran Canaria, promising participants an unforgettable journey through diverse landscapes. Organized by Arista Eventos, the route remains a closely guarded secret until just 10 days before the race.
Participants must be in good physical condition to face the more than 14,000 meters of altitude difference along the route, and they will also have to demonstrate orientation skills. Presenting runners with the ultimate test of both physical endurance and navigational skills.
For the third consecutive year, Tejeda will be the heart of the event. This shows that Tejeda is committed to trail running with wonderful trails to practice it, as well as a wide range of accommodation and restaurants in the city for both participants and their families.

Over the years, the Transgrancanaria 360 has crowned champions from across the globe, including renowned athletes like the Italians Luca Papi, Marco Gubert and Peter Kienzl; the French Claire Bannwarth and the Romanian Claudiu Beletoiu; as well as the Spanish Esther Hernández and the Italians Annemarie Gross and Marta Poretti.
In the last edition, held between November 16th and 19th of the preceding year, Claudiu Beletoiu of Romania emerged victorious. While French contender Claire Bannwarth clinched the win in the women’s category. José Bordón, hailing from the Canary Islands, secured third place. Out of the total registrants, 59 participants opted out of the race, leaving just 25 determined runners who completed the grueling course successfully.
With only a hundred places available, aspiring participants are encouraged to act fast and secure their spot on the starting line. Residents of the Canary Islands can enjoy a special 20% discount, and the option for installment payments is also available. Additionally, the organization rewards loyal finishers with a discount of 30 euros per edition completed, up to a maximum of four editions.
