LAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL (120K/5800D+) 2021: THE TRAILRUNNING COMES BACK TO CORTINA D’AMPEZZO (24-26 JUNE)
LAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL(120K/5800D+) 2021: the trailrunning comes back to Cortina d’Ampezzo. Our TRAIL RUNNING CALENDAR 2021 bring us today the preview of the Lavaredo Ultra Trail that will be hosted this weekend in the Italian Dolomites and its mythical Tre Cimme.
Remenber that this year, as we presented you here, the race will be part of the Spartan Trail 2021 with a total of 10 races round the world, across four continents, which give points for a final leaderboard, split into two categories: “Trail Run Championship” (up to 49k distances) and “Trail Ultra Championship” (50k or more distances).
LLAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL 2021
The races in the Italian Dolomites started today with the Cortina Skyrace and its 20 km 1000m+. After it, tomorrow will the turn of the Queen Race, the Lavaredo Ultra Trail and its 120 km 5800 m+ and also on 25th June the Cortina Trail 48 km 4100m+ to finalize on 26th June with the UltraDolomites and its 80 km 4100+
CORTINA SKYRACE 20 KM 1000M+ (1 ITRA POINT), 24TH JUNE.
CORTINA TRAIL 48 KM 2600M+ (3 ITRA POINTS), 25TH JUNE
LAVAREDO ULTRA TRAIL 120 KM 5800M+ (5 ITRA POINTS), 25TH JUNE.
ULTRADOLOMITES 80 KM 4100M+ (4 ITRA POINTS), 26TH JUNE.
SPARTAN TRAIL 2021
The Spartan Trail 2021 will take place on four continents. It has been sought to create a circuit of interest for both elites and popular runners. The Spartan brand made the big leap into the world of trail running in a difficult year, 2020. Having cancelled its inaugural season as a result of the world pandemic, the Spartan Trail returns to the track with some of the most prestigious races in the world.
SPARTAN TRAIL 2021, CALENDAR
Two categories, Trail Run and Trail Ultra: The circuit has 10 appointments throughout the world, on four continents, which will award points for the final ranking and will be divided into two categories:
“Trail Run Championship” (races up to 49k) and “Trail Ultra Championship” (Races of 50k or more).
Three modes: Crown, Blue and Green. The stops will carry three different labels, which differ from each other by the amount of cash points and prizes they award, based on hierarchy and age
events.
