GARMIN ENDURO: New ultra trail gps watch for 800€-900€ (for the titanium version). Today in our GPS WATCH section we introduce you to the latest Garmin news for this 2021, with the brand new Enduro range and its incoporated solar charger.

The new GARMIN ENDURO nearly doubles the current price of previous watches, however, in its favor, it provides a more capable battery, with 70h by default, that manages to extend up to 80h if solar recharged. Let’s go and see the details.

GARMIN ENDURO: NEW ULTRA TRAIL GPS WATCH 800€-900€ (TITANIUM)

Garmin has officially released its Garmin Enduro, with a focus on ultra-endurance sports. This watch has the longest battery life on a Garmin to date: a full charge gives you 70 hours in GPS mode, which by brand extends to 80 hours if you squeeze it by solar recharge.

It also provides a number of new features on the watch, which we will see in more detail at the end. For now, we are advancing that includes a VO2 max. specific to mountain races, as well as new features dubbed climbing. Complete the package novelties a rest timer, so that the runners record data about how long they have stopped in each aid station and similar stuff. We start with the data sheet.

GARMIN ENDURO: OUTSTANDING NOVELS.

The Enduro features Garmin’s Power Glass solar charging lens. The system works as we saw with the pioneer GARMIN FENIX 6 PRO SOLAR that we presented to you from Chamonix: A special photosensitive crystal that allows the sun’s energy to charge the watch as you move. A full charge of the watch will give an athlete 70 hours in GPS mode, this extends to 80 hours when used outdoors.

Unfortunately, Garmin has removed the native built-in mapping features of the Fenix 6 Pro to deliver this extended battery life. In return, it still maintains a navigation path element.

As for easy to use, the watch remains noticeably light and barely larger than the other solar watches in the Garmin collection. It is available, as explained above with and without titanium bezel. The fit is completed with a new Garmin UltraFit nylon strap, lightweight and comfortable for the skin. There is also the option to switch to a silicone or leather strap if you prefer.
